I was in Sheridan, WY this past weekend and stopped by the Kubota dealer to see what they had on the lot. They had a new MX6000 next to a new M5-111 that was missing some sheet metal. Size is relative and it took a while to get used to the size of the MX after moving up from a BX25D. It's much less of a jump from the MX to the M tractors but they're still a lot more tractor. It would be cool to see a photo showing every current Kubota model lined up next each other.

is that a snow plow + snow pusher combination in one?
what a cool tractor!!!

the two not sitting side by side I wouldn't give it much thought, but seeing them next to each other gives perspective.

I went from a MX5400 to an M4-071. There is a huge size difference (in my opinion), especially when operating the two. The M4 seat is higher in the air and the loader is quite a bit larger in the front. I miss the nimbleness of the MX, especially when it comes to changing bucket, forks, grapple. The view to the front of the MX was not great, but it's "Ray Charles" trying to aim the SSQA on the M4. That said, I do appreciate the comparative power and stability of the M4. The loader will just stop before lifting the rear of the tractor, unlike the MX.

Agreed.

My M9960 is MUCH more substantial than my L6060.

Yeah, I made that point in the shout out to the M7060 tractor thread. Clearly the M series is way more tractor than the MX or L series. It's cool to see them side by side and realize that one belongs on a farm and the other on the lawn!

Now that you mention it, I have noticed a bit of a size difference between two of my Kubotas!

That's a great photo and that M5 of yours is just awesome! Thanks for sharing. Kind of reminds me of a rhino with its baby.

Thanks, I really like the M5, I had an M7060, it developed fuel system problems at around 50 hours, it is a long story, the dealer made it right and ordered me an M5_091. I have bought a few items from my friendly Kubota/Land Pride dealer.

Do you get a Christmas card from your Kubota dealer?

Thanks, I am fortunate to be able to have these nice machines. I am kinda fussy about the care and condition of my equipment, the G5200 is a 1993 model.
Is that an L6060 next to the M5?

Here's my old BX25D next to the MX6000, and the MX6000 open station next to the MX6000 with a cab.

Thanks for sharing. It sure looks like that yellow blade may also be able to be used as a push box. I almost feel dirty and ashamed to ask, but any idea what brand that YELLOW blade/box might be?
