OK - found them. They look identical with the exception of some mounting hardware and possibly longer hoses. Nothing special about those kits - basic components are a generic solenoid valve mounted to the loader post and a replacement handle for the joystick. If I were choosing I'd go with the L4701/LA765 kit on the theory the hoses will be longer. Both kits will likely need to be tweaked to match the loader valve connections and boom geometry on the L3130.He is referring to 3rd function kits offered by Summit Hydraulics. IOnly thing I can add that’s potentially useful: whatever TheOldHokie says I’d roll with. If I ever have a hydraulics question he’s one of the few I’d trust without further question.
There is nothing misleading in the description and the TFK2/TFK3 kits do not redirect the loader valve functions. They add a third solenoid actuated directional control valve to the power beyond circuit and two joystick mounted push buttons for controlling it. The third function valve is fed from the power beyond outlet on the loader valve and the ability of the third function circuit to operate simultaneously with the loader circuits is strictly a function of the loader valve. In general the Kubota loader valves have regen and tank return on the bucket spool which blocks the power beyond flow and prevents the solenoid valve from operating when the bucket spool is shifted. The boom spool is in series with the power beyond port and allows the third function to operate when the boom spool is shifted.'3rd function' is kinda misleading....
those kits sound like they take an existing function and redirect it to the '3rd' set of cylinders.
if so you only have TWO things being controlled unlike a true full time 3rd function setup.
a true 3rd function would allow you to control 3 things at the same time.
what you need depends on what you're using the 3rd function for.
