My m100x is leaking coolant pretty good and hard to detect the source of leak....Ive changed the top hose, thermostat and gasket and its still leaking like a civ. Im wondering now if its the water pump. Any tips on how to nip the leak point. I start the tractor and seconds it starts leaking. Hard to tell with the fan blowing it everywhere. Thxx

It is very possible the seal for the shaft that drives the impeller is leaking. Should be easy enough to pull off the fan and pulley to see if the inside of the pulley is wet

if cold, remove fan belt, start up tractor....run for awhile, long enough to check it out.

Flour or talcum powder applied if possible in the vicinity of the leak will help detect the source of your leak. Good luck.

Pressure testing it is the first thing that comes to my mind. Pulling the fan belt is also a great suggestion

I also suspect the water-pump seal. You can temporarrly remove the belt and run engine for a minute or so to help isolate the leak.

Add dye to radiator and use special glasses and light to locate the leakage source.

Kit available at auto parts store

You can pressurize through points other than a rad cap.

I have remove the bypass hose and plugged on side and put a schraeder valve on the other side.

Just do not get carried away using compressed air. Better to use a big bicycle pump so the air is added gradually.
