The box blade/grapple combo can do a hell of a lot more with the BB on the back, believe me.
BB was mentioned as a rear ballast which I find it perfect for (BB1560 on my B2650) as it counterbalances ANY load the FEL can raise off the ground.
The BB can also move more soil, gravel, snow or whatever across an area faster than a front end loader (which I did not see mentioned, just the forks), is a powerful dozer in reverse, and once that stump puller does its job, throw the BB on to re-level where the stump once was.
And of course if there's any gravel grading or reconditioning to do....
