Took a month-plus to get them, but we’ve got cutting boards….

Singles were out of stock for $25, but we got 6 for $16 each.

Ollie approves….he likes cutting boards…

He often gets a snack off a cutting board.

Used the new vacuum sealer again tonight. Been using it regularly. It’s large but seems real heavy duty. I made a new shelf in the garage cabinet to store it. Takes a lot of counter space.

I sealed a couple small pieces of fresh ginger. Definitely had enough machine for it.

Also got some 15” rolls for it. They will be very handy down the road. 11” rolls have proven to be a little lacking

Below freezing yesterday morning and this morning. Hard frost last night. Night before last it was tee shirt weather at 11pm 🙄🙄🙄

Fired up the smoker this morning. Threw on a 7lb chuck roast to make pulled beef tonight.

In preparation for the kids coming for Christmas, the Mrs. made a double batch of meatballs. Her grandmother’s recipe from the old country.

Used sealer and portioned them out. Happy with the sealer.

Bigger footprint than the expected, but better than a smaller unit than expected….

Meat is off the smoker, doctored it up with some worchestershire sauce, A1, and soy sauce. Now in the oven with a couple baked taters to finish up. Should be ready to come out of the oven around 5, dinner at 5:30 😎😎😎

Got a batch of spaghetti sauce going…will just freeze that for later.

Got a tri-tip for dinner. Not sure what will go along with it yet.

Whats all in the rice?
Onion, garlic and a bag of frozen “riced” broccoli and cauliflower, just to get it out of the freezer.

It’s brown rice and I used beef broth too.

I got a small pot, a spaghetti pot, and the one shown from All clad, D5, influenced by the made in USA label, and a small frypan non stick, Cuisinart. After I try these out, I'll add some others as needed. The sets that were on sale had too many things I didn't want and omitted things I did want. They all cook fine so far, but All clad is heavy. It cleaned up ok, but imagine it won't stay that shiny for long.

You probably know this, but Barkeeper's Friend is the cat's meow for taking the stains off stainless steel.
