My MX 6000 cab was finally delivered yesterday after a 3 month wait. I did a little mowing with it and love it so for. Looking forward to many years of enjoyment.

Very nice. My MX6000 open station was delivered last week. I’m still appreciating that new tractor perfection.

@JRS, Congratulations on the awesome tractor! Is that plow yours too?

I've had my MX6000 open station since February and have over 100 hours on it already and that's with 2 months off due to a back injury! These MXs are excellent tractors for all manner of projects and tasks.

My MX6000 cab model is still on a pallet at the local dealer and will sit there until the loader shows up. I stop by to check on the beast at least once a week and I see more and more parts being added to the pile. I would enjoy the cab now with the weather we've been having, but am thankful to have the open station model to deal with the snow until the new one is ready to be delivered.

Looks great! The MX series is a well thought out crossover machine. I have truly enjoyed mine so far. I have an open station which works best for my applications.
Congratulation!

Nice! I'd love to see a video or photos of you pulling that thing. Did you get the draft control option on the new MX? I ordered it for mine although I don't think I'll be pulling a plow anytime soon. I don't like having empty slots and I'd rather have it and not use it than need it and not have it. 😂

JRS Enjoy that new MX-6000. I bought a open station one in June and have really liked it. I just was at a indoor farm show this morning and talking with a factory rep and he said the MX series has been selling well.

How’s that new tractor smell? Enjoy it while it lasts! Congratulations. I would not trade my dog or my MX for 10 relatives. Keep the rubber side down.

It looks like you have the same factory top-n-tilt kit I have. I found that the top link heim joint that attaches to the quick hitch or implement is a bad design. I ended up welding on a new and improved hiem joint and have had zero issues since.

@JRS, I just want to reiterate that I'd LOVE to see some photos or video of you pulling that plow. What model is it? I think it's awesome that you'll be running a plow behind your MX.

Don’t mean to get picky, but is that a plow or a double gang disc harrow? If it’s the thing on the trailer in front of the tractor it looks more like a disc harrow but sometimes I miss the obvious so maybe I’m missing the plow.

There I go again confusing the issue. It might be a disc harrow so I apologize for the mistake. Either way, I'd love to see it being pulled behind the MX. I assume that a harrow is used to break up the ground rather than dig it up and turn it over like a plow.

If it’s a disc harrow, yes it’s used to break up the ground and cut up vegetation (corn stalks, grass, etc.) just not as deep as a plow. Setting the angle of the axles on the disc gangs controls depth of cut. It also busts up plowed ground into a more level bed with smaller clumps. Hook a drag to the back and it makes a good seed bed. If you want a seed bed for a garden or food plot for deer a tiller may be great. If you want a seed bed for 50 acres, the OP has the thing to do it efficiently and effectively.

Back in the day spent many days running one after school until well after dark. Have an old one in the shed but haven’t had it out in probably 35 years. No use for it now.

I’d also like to see the MX running it if OP is up for posting some pics or a short video.
