Most dreaded task done - putting the chains on the tires. Now ready for snow:

It’s hardly began and I’m about ready for it to be over!
I can't wait for a winter like that!!!!!!
I want to drive all the newcomers out of this area and back to their commie west coast hellhole from which they came!!!!

Last year, for the first time in the 17+ years of ownership of my BX22, I installed chains, since they were predicting a horrific Nor'easter. I pulled out of the garage, and within 10 feet, I realized that they were too bumpy for me. I took them off and hung them back on the wall where they hung for decades. I never needed chains before, and I doubt that I will ever need chains. I use turf tires, and they are loaded, along with a 600# weight box in the rear. I snowblow first, and after the bulk of the snow is gone, I go over the driveway with the plow. Swapping implements is easy, and this year, with the BX23S, it should be even easier.
The only reason that I can see having to use chains, is if I had a steep hill to climb. If that were the case, I would use my F250 plow truck that was retired when I got the BX.

I shouldn’t even speak such words, but haven’t put the snow blower on yet. the ground is still clear, and grass is mostly green. I even had to mow the yard a couple days ago. I’m ok with a late season

I should try out my blower and still need to fab up the cab side of the chute rotation handle (didn't come with the tractor when I bought it), but I'm not done using the loader, yet!

After the unusually hot summer, short spring and now a weird fall, what will winter throw at the Inland Pacific Northwest?!?!?!

Personally, the snow pack needs replenished and as I stated earlier it needs to be a huge snowfall to drive out the newcomers!!!!!
