Kodiak Brand rotary brush cutters?

I have been looking at rotary brush cutters.
I need a 4' rotary brush cutter for a Kubota BX25D.
I've looked at Land Pride, Bush Hog, County Line (Tractor Supply) in person.
I was at the Mahindra dealer the other day for my trailer purchase.
They said the Mahindra brush cutter was a re-branded Kodiak unit.
Comparing the specs/pictures on both units seems to verify the dealer claim.
Kodiak 4 footer has 11 gauge steel deck and the most top of deck bracing.
It's the most heavy duty unit I can find for a BX25D.
Most of the other units I looked at are 12 & 14 gauge decks.
Pros/cons for the Kodiak brand?
It's mid range on price, significantly cheaper than Land Pride.
And it looks like the Mahindra stickers will be easy to remove!

Cant help ya bud, what was the asking price, made in US or over seas? China parts are pretty hard to comeby some times.

Kodiak is made in the USA per their website. Asking price is $1500.

In my location, Land Pride is $500 more than the Kodiak.
And the Kodiak is $500 more than the Tractor Supply.
The Kodiak comes with chain guarding front & rear.
Most others use rubber strips for guarding.

My Kubota dealer is starting to sell them. Im sure theyre fine.

If I recall correctly, the gearbox has either a 5 or 7 year warranty. Not bad.

Got the Mahindra 4 ft rotary cutter. Kodiak manual inside the plastic tube.
I did notice the 2019 models had less top of deck bracing than the 2018 models.
The dealer had both so I got the 2018.
I have to take off the backhoe first before trying the rotary cutter.
It appears to be a solid well built unit!

Please, please don't fall into this trap of "Made in the USA". Virtually nothing is made in the USA fully and completely.

I recently had to replace bushings in my Pioneer (John Deere) rotary cutter. One pair of bushings came in a bag marked "Made in China", the other bag was marked "Made in India".

Don't think that everything in a product that bears the "Made in the USA" is actually made in the USA - that simply is not the case.
