Grapples for mx6000

I have an EA 66". It's incredible, and I waited forever for it, 24 weeks against a 12 week initial delivery date. As Ive used it though I have not even come close to "stressing" it. I mostly carry mesquite branches up to 20ft, mesquite logs, and some fairly big, flat rocks. It does this without any problems whatsoever. So, in hindsight I am not sure a more affordable or more readily available grapple would not have worked just as well for my uses.

EA Wicked 60 ordered 2/24 and delivered 7/1. As much as I like EA products, most of us could probably do just fine with a "lesser" and cheaper model. I went with the 60 over the 66 to save 250lb of lift capacity which is important to me. I use mine to move rocks around more than anything so wanted a strong grapple that would hold up to the abuse. The dirt up here is the worst I've ever encountered consisting of a powdery, crushed rock type silt mixed in with rocks and boulders of every size imaginable. It's incredibly hard on buckets, grapples, box blades etc., so I'm ok with paying for tougher implements.
If moving brush around is the main use, I don't see the merit in paying close to $3,000 for a grapple to do that.
I needed a grapple and looked at many options. I purchased a 60” MTL Root Grapple. Delivered in a week for < $1300 All in.

I’m sure the high dollar options are nice. I really can’t see why I’d need anything more. I’m very please after using it for a couple of months now.

Another EA fan here. Waiting on a 60" for the MX, but also had the 55" on my LX.

Just got my EA Wicked 55 grapple a couple weeks ago. It's nice to know that I'll never damage it with my B3200, and if for some reason I did, EA will stand behind it. I'm not sure other manufacturers would stand behind their equipment as well as EA does.
I think what "mxmci" said is accurate. I opted for the EA and I'm glad I did, I beat the h**l out of it and it takes it just fine. If all you're doing is cleaning out brush, something like the MTL products should be ok and much cheaper.

I have the Land Pride SGC1072 grapple on my MX5800. Mostly use it to move oak logs and related brush. As others have mentioned, not sure how I lived without it. Really adds to the use of the tractor. Handle large-ish rocks as well. A little pricey for sure, but it was combined for the Kubota discounts, etc.
