A BX has so little lift height I would rather use a pole saw!

We used both. Gives a lot of reach. You can see in the picture of mine there is a spot on the front to hang the pole saw. My buddie has the extended version from Stihl. With the cherry picker at almost 9 feet, his height and the pole saw going to 11 feet you get a LOT of reach.
