Actually came out pretty sturdy for an accountant with a circular saw. šŸ¤£ :geek:
Should I go Kubota orange with it? Or safety yellow?
1) Haven't tested it yet, I hope it can lift my fat ass.
2) I hope my wife is proficient with the FEL controls, or, my life insurance is paid up.

I use an IBC tote cage, and I draw a diagram for her with arrows and pictures and tape it to her right leg inside a clear plastic bag "down" and "dump" are in red :ROFLMAO: the rest is green

looking forward to seeing your project completed!

Maybe sheet off the back side facing the driver. Then label in bright bold letters: "Remember, I am your loving husband! Without me, who will unclog the drains? Exercise extreme caution operating the controls PLEASE!"

For a man to be up in the air in a basket with a tractor being operated by a someone without many, many hours of loader operating time is asking for trouble!

Nice. these set ups look pretty similar to mine...even the orange pool noodle padded railing.

Paul, maybe one of these (Kioti loader control knob) would help?

Dirty, yeah I did copy your pool noodle idea. I was going to build one anyway and saw that idea. I decided to keep my own wife though. Pretty happy with that so far so not looking to make any adjustments. Got 30 years in and still runs great, no leaks, gets a little loud at times but so does the HST and you just get used to it.

2 questions.

1. How did you anchor the cage to the forks? Tie straps, etc?
2. Do you climb in or use a trampoline ;)
1. Yes I put a ratchet strap around the fork structure.
2. no, I parachute.

Tie it to the tractor so it can't come off the forks.

Wow. You guys doing these Baskets are brave, those have sketchy written all over them. The "B" in Baskets stands for Big Balls! I don't think I can do that - but its a cool idea. <laughing>

Took the cherry-picker and tractor over to my buddies house to do some limping of beaches over his driveway and his wifeā€™s she shed. Worked extremely well. Very stable and even though he is afraid of heights he felt very secure. Put all the limbs in piles and switched to the grapple then hauled them all to the burn pile. Took about 2 hours and we did his whole property.
