Hi Bota Men !
I am sure this is a "thing", but I haven't been able to search for it (successfully) because maybe I am using the wrong terminology.
I have a Land Pride,RB1560 rear blade, used twice this summer and currently parked outside, but I think I'll need it in the winter for my BX2380 with snowblower. Leaving it outside is a good way to lose it in the massive snows we get here.
I'll use it off and on, both as a blade and possibly rear ballast when things are icy. Problem is, my garage is so miniscule so I can't leave it attached. (won't all fit inside) I think I have figured out how to "carve" a slot along one side of the garage to 'slip it into', but it's going to have to go on some kind of cart or trolley.
Dang thing is heavy. 248lbs.
I've seen them in the background or whatever in a couple youtube videos and I am sure many of you guys must've made these things.
I sure am not asking for a step-by-step but what height above ground do you normally go for? Just today I put a QH05 quick hitch on my BX2380 but haven't really played with it yet. (too many irons in the fire today_)
Because of the horribly small size of my garage I am going to build it more-or-less "T" shaped and put 4 or 5 wheels on it. Maybe just start out with a standard pallet or make it from scratch out of 2x4's
Any general rules of thumb or caveats? (and what do you call these little carts/trolley's/carriers anyways
Tnx Fellas ! (And ladies)
