I dont really need to stack, it's just that 8 bales (a years supply for my mini Donkeys) would take up lots of room. But 8 would require a Bigger Barn and trailer to buy so I think it would be wiser to just buy 4 bales at a time! If my L2501 had a cab and AC I wouldn't really need to upgrade. I buy two bales at a time now and just leave them in my single axle box trailer, It's over loaded but only go a flat mile.
Well, if the need to upgrade is just for A/C and Cab, I’d strongly recommend the Grand L3560/L4060 over all other options. You really can’t beat the comfort, quality or function of the Grand L series tractor.

The good news is the resale value on your L2501 will be high and you will likely get very close to what you paid for it.
Indeed! And, depending on the market, perhaps more. L2501 are in extremely high demand.

When I was considering the L6060 over the MX6000 with cab, the dealership manager who bought my BX from me mentioned that he has an L6060 and that the HST is bullet proof. He didn't say anything about the FST or GST transmissions but specifically that they never see the Grand L HST tractors in the shop other than to have accessories installed.

I would have said MX except he said not huge. Well, an MX isn’t huge, but it’s a lot bigger than an L2501.
Went and looked at a MX 6000 It is not huge would be more trouble threading thru my woods than the L2501 but manageable. I have a winch on my boom pole to get at down logs that even the 2501 couldn't get to.

The MX is a very capable tractor and if you get to drive one, notice how small the turning radius is for a 60 hp tractor that feels long with the FEL attached. Also, you have three options for the rear track width. Mine came set up with narrowest setting and I've felt no need to change it. I did ask the dealer to set up the rear wheels on the new one with the middle option.

The L60 cabs are for want of a better term more high end than the MX cabs, but you pay for that. It wasn't important to me and I like the simplicity of the MX controls and cab. You're not paying for niceties when you buy an MX. All of the money is going into function. I'm not trying to convince you to buy anything, just discussing some of the things that I considered when I upgraded from a BX to an MX.
