Looking for some pictures of the Kubota snow blower drift cutters. I have found 2 different part numbers, GR2714 for the 50" snow blower, and BX5447, which doesn't have any reference of what snow blower that it is for. I am contemplating buying some flat stock, and making my own. Just looking for pictures for some ideas.

Kubota, no idea part number. Size that goes with that snowblower, it is for a B2650 rather than a BX . Brings the cleared swath just outside the rear wheels, which have about 2 inch spacers. Works great. Not too much for the tractor up to about 18 inch deep snow.
I have them on my B2782 blower.
About $115 a few years ago.

We have lots of snow this year in Northwestern Ontario and my snow banks are getting higher than my B2782B blower on my B2650 tractor can cut. I bought two pieces of 3" x 32" x 1/4 " flat steel and made some drift cutters. I driller two holes in each piece and then clamped them to the snowblower and used the drilled holes as guides to ensure I got the holes in the snowblower in the right place. I had to use a Cobalt drill bit to drill the steel on the snowblower as it's pretty hard steel. I installed the cutters at a 45 degree angle and placed them so that they sat just at the back edge of the blower box and just above the lip of the flange on the side of the box as shown in the 2nd photo. I used two 3/8" x 1 1/2" grade 8 bolts. I may have to weld a strip of 1/4" angle iron down the length on each one if they aren't quit stiff enough. Used them yesterday and they seem fine so far.

I saw those in this post but I needed something that cuts snow banks that are higher than the blower can cut. These ones give you extra width to your cut, which is not what I needed. My snowbanks are now over 2 feet tall and with my cutters I can now handle snowbanks up to 3 feet tall. We already have at least 30 inches of snow this year.
