Had the honor of meeting Jason Redman, a medically retired SEAL a few years ago. He was one of the participants in the Pineapple Express mission. He medically retired due to getting caught in an ambush and being on the receiving end of an Afghan machine gun. When I met him he went everywhere with a service dog, his wife, and a cane. Impressive gentleman, nonetheless. I was quite amazed he was physically capable of participating in another mission.
