Personally, I go against the flow. I don't like the way the loader clips on (looks fragile to me compared to the through pins on the old one - and the through pins are easily removable from the seat, so I do feel that was a problem that didn't need solving), but I really dislike the placement and stiffness of the pioneer couplers. I can't get them on and off without either skinning something and getting fluid on me (if I don't wear gloves), or swearing and cursing because with gloves I don't have enough purchase and angle on the damn things to get them on and off. I can do it, I just don't like it. The single lever is in a much better location (although no doubt exposed to damage).

So I haven’t had my tractor all that long but I use my FEL so much I doubt I will ever take it off. IfI need a little extra front end room I have the SSQA and will take off any front implement. I know some take theirs off for brush hog/mowing. If you are using a mid mount snow blower you will have to take the FEL off but I suspect if you are doing that it won’t be a frequent on/off thing but seasonal. How often do you think you will remove the FEL?
I go the other way. I usually have my FEL, I put it on to use it. My biggest use is mowing, and mowing with the FEL off is much nicer. For a variety of reasons I mowed with the FEL on this week, and it reminded me why I don't. It puts a lot more weight on the front of the machine, and I feel that all that weight on the front wheels chews the lawn up a bit. It also makes the machine less nimble - more prone to swing the FEL into things. That's annoying around shrubs, around the house it has potential for me to have to fix things.
