Not patent -- copyright. Patents apply to a physical invention and expire after 20 years. Copyright applies to artistic works and apply for much much longer periods (eg: 75 years after the creator's death). The Canadian military (more accurately, the "Crown") has a copyright on their camo design too. I believe the US military does not, because US law places all government works in the public domain. So feel free to paint your quad like a US tank, but not a Canadian one.Thanks for the info ! Couldn't believe anyone had a patent on camo...
