Hi,
Sorry, I looked around but didn't see a post about this. I have an L3130 with some slow leaks around the loader area hoses. I was thinking about replacing all of the hoses. Is there a kit that's available that includes all sizes of hoses? Is this now a good time to get quick connects? Thanks.
No, Kubota does not offer a hose kit for the loader.
If you do in fact have a Kubota loader, the 4 supply hoses from the control valve are, all the same, remove one of them. The hoses from the steel tubes to the lift cylinders are the same on both sides, take the Butt end hose from one side and the Rod end hose from the other side off. Lable the hoses Lift cylinder Butt or rod end so you know which hose went where. Do the same with the hoses going to the bucket cylinders. Lable them bucket cylinders, Butt or Rod end. Take the hoses to a place that makes hoses, tell them which you need 2 each of and which you need 4 of.
You can then install the new hoses where you removed the old hoses from, then swap out the remaining old hose one by one with no danger of getting any hoses crossed.
I have had people do this that could not tie their own shoes and get it right the first try.
If you do not have quick couples now would be the time to add them or replace the old ones if you want to.
