Move piles of stuff after using FEL or bucket?

So, besides some sort of mower/ATV and trailer, is there a way you've figured out to load up a couple piles of dirt and move them at once using your TLB? It's getting tiresome and lengthy running a bucket of stuff to the dump pile 50 ft away and then coming back for another bucket... Thnx!

I haul brush 300 yards to one of 3 piles - just so I don't drive too far.

Hmmm, sorry but 50 ft isn’t very far. Not sure even a dump trailer is going to help you much. After you spend all the time loading the trailer, driving it 50 ft, and then dumping it you probably saved 10 min, maybe. Bigger tractor with bigger bucket makes less moves with more moved each time.

OP Seriously though 50 ft is nothing. Keep it up. It will take you longer to load and dump. I assume by having a BX you don’t have enough property to warrant a dump trailer. If you have an ATV maybe a smaller trailer for it…but again the loading dumping is the issue.

You can get an extra 'scoop' if you fill the BH bucket...
also put BX23S in high range to travel(cuts time by 60% )

The BX is a solid tractor but has its limitations due to its size. In the end, when dealing with the FEL, especially with dirt removal you can do anything that a larger tractor does. You just do it slower. I moved about 30 yards of dirt for my neighbor. Helped as they have a BX. I was much faster with the larger bucket and tractor. They could have done it without me but would have taken a lot longer. Btw we moved the dirt about 150 yards away to a shooting range berm.
FWIW tractor time is fun. Enjoy moving the dirt, I did lol.

My bet he would lose time if he tried the trailer approach.

Myself, I did buy a dump trailer a couple years ago when I was moving a LOT of dirt, more like a hundred yards on average though. No doubt in my case it was a wise move. For fifty feet...doubt it.

Again, in my case, I could load the trailer with the backhoe on my slightly larger tractor, and pull the trailer with my BX. Without a second tractor to pull a trailer...not sure a trailer makes sense except for a pretty good distance.

There may be a larger bucket available but for light weight materials

the 'cheat' is to use a sheet of plywood, add 2by12 sides. fill using tractor, then haul to dump site. depending on material density, you can get x3 to x5 the volume of material hauled in one shot.
use a $200 mini farm wagon, gets you 10X the volume.
the big question is , do you need to do this more than once in a lifetime ??
the problem is the distance, 50', that's about 3x the length of a BX23S so really NOT worth tossing onto anything, hauling, dumping... as travel time would be shorter than fill and haul and dump.

amazing!!! i have been bugging my wife for years to let me buy a mini dump truck!! i see them in RHD 4x4 for sale around here on a regular basis and they are road legal.
