Treadle Pedal operates opposite

I would like to add my experience to the risks of continued reverse operation of the hst pedal. Some of you may have heard this story from me previously.
I was sent to investigate a fatal farm accident where an older man was suffocated when a large round bale rolled back over his loader bucket and pinned him in the seat, It must have been an unpleasant way to die.
What the investigation revealed was that the owner and his friend had worked on the loader and ended up with reversed controls..... up was down and dump became roll back.
They realized their mistake and planned on fixing it the next day but felt an experienced operator could mentally compensate for this reversed control situation and there was work that had to get done.
It had been a long hot day and everyone was tired. A simple mental error due to fatigue.
A wrong control movement and the bale was on top of the operator.
The round bale was too heavy to be moved by hand and no other tractor was available to remove the bale in the short time the operator lived.
Some of these situations carry with them more risk than is apparent at first.
It is your machine and you are the one to assess risks and to make the decisions. Just make them with all possible background information.

Yes, risk is a part of life. Darwinism is alive and examples are numerous every day, just ask any first responder. Down here farm accidents are the worst with old homemade wood chippers, stills that blow up, and deadly falls that are all caused by a series or chain of events that if any one of them could have been eliminated, it may have saved a life. In the end, if cancer doesn't get you, a tornado, snake, ticks, scorpions or meth heads will. Survival is the key. Of all the things that could get me, my tractor isnt even on my list. I read about guns up North and all the restrictions in getting one and all the politicians blaming guns for all the deaths. Down here guns are like buttholes (everybody has one), and not one of mine has ever jumped off the counter and shot anybody. Where I live I havent even heard of a human shooting another human in years. So we are really getting off topic here, I promise to make a dual pedal setup with a well marked gas and brake pedal for my machine if we can all agree to let this thread end. And, yes I will post my design when finished.
Attached are pictures of the original and the progression of the design. It works perfect. The final shows the painted version of the tractor, I wish I had taken a before picture as it was pretty rough shape.
No holes were needed for this install as I used existing bolts in the foot rests. This only took a day to make. Paint used was Tractor Supply Orange Oil based with hardener followed by Tractor Supply Clear. The blue was acrylic enamel from Messicks. The gray rops was bobcat gray equipment enamel. I did not like the acrylic enamel orange from Messicks as it had no shine or body to the paint. I hope it's good for another 40 years!

It is interesting to me that kubota doesn’t offer both pedal systems as an option for owners. Seems like you’d perhaps gains few extra buyers who maybe were on the fence and didn’t like the treadle.
Yes, I will ask for the RP additive for the super UDT2 fluid next time I'm at the dealer, I will get the same look I got when I told them forward is reverse and reverse is forward.I was going to suggest reverse polarity Super UDT2 fluid, but then the loader would run backwards, and the pedal would be right.
