Howling sound on start-up

My M5200 sometimes puts out a loud howling sound after start-up. It goes away after 30 seconds or so, sometimes continues for a minute. Everything works fine for the rest of the day. Fluids are at the correct level. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd suggest checking the alternator belt tension and inspect the belt, pending run hours the belt could be loose and becoming glazed

If the belt is the problem, remove it and spin both the water pump and alternator, when replacing the belt clean the belt and pulleys thoroughly with denatured alcohol. Also good practice would be to buy a new belt and use the old one for a spare.

Just wondering. Does the M5200 have a radiator fan clutch?

Air conditioner? My compressor makes a bit of a noise upon first start up. That’s why I like the radio.
