I've been chasing a problem with the engine on my BX2230 missing or stalling. Acted like an obstruction in the fuel system but it would do it whether under load or not. I have cleaned the tank and lines the best I can. I use this tractor mostly for mowing. It completely died last night while mowing and when it did I could hear the shut off solenoid clicking in and out. I disconnected the solenoid and finished mowing with no problems. This solenoid is the second one I have installed in the 17 years I've owned this machine, the others just wouldn't stop the engine when the switch was turned off. Anyone on here ever experienced a problem like this? I would think for the solenoid to be energizing voltage has to be coming from somewhere, a safety switch or the ignition switch
