Hi,
The right hand link bar for the MMM on my BX2200 got bent. This caused extra strain on the metal clip that is attached to it where the spring pin goes through and the clip broke off the arm. I posted in the WTB section since I would prefer not to spend the $275 for a new one.

I have also considered removing the damaged one and attempting to bend it back straight and fab up a new clip to weld on. I was wondering if anyone else on here has had this issue and if they were able to repair it instead of purchasing a new arm. Here is the diagram of the part I am referring to. It is # 140 on the diagram.

I have not had that issue on my BX2200, but cannot imagine why you could not repair that piece like you describe.

That is what I would do. I do have a cheap HF hydraulic press that might help though, but a flat surface and a BFH might be good enough if you have to straighten it. Doubt it needs to be perfect...

(A BH...Big Hammer...might be a more acceptable term...LOL)

No press, but I do have the BFH.......

I have a bottle jack I might be able to rig something up and use to straighten it.
