What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I feel lazy compared to some of you.

My larger projects are still waiting on my tooth bar to come in from BX.....hopefully shipping in the next week or so.

Been using the 2601 to move our trailers around as we have to park our 23' TT and 2 horse trailers in line on the side of the garage then my truck in front of them (truck won't fit in garages.......can builders please spec 8' doors going forward !!!).

I use the receiver on my pallet fork frame with one of our adjustable hitches, thinking of getting a dedicated hitch for the tractor as I had my good adjustable on the truck with the horse trailer on it and had to use the weight distro hitch (without bars obviously) for the RV........and that hitch alone is like 60lbs of added weight.

I'm moving the trailers around on flat ground and take my time in 4wd Low.......the 2601 has zero problems with either......the TT has a tongue weight of about 550lbs at this point so no big deal. Takes a little bit to figure out how to get things where you want vs. backing up a trailer but it is a short learning curve.

I just use the tip on my Pat’s Quick attach on my 3 point to lift my trailer or splitter enough to move it around.

that works great until you have an attachment on the 3 point. I found the bucket mounted receiver makes short work of moving stuff around because 90% of the time the bucket is on the machine already and there is always something on the 3 point. Moving with the 3 point or draw bar is ideal, but sometimes not as efficient.

I tried the thing that attaches to the bucket lip and did not get a good feeling with it, i think it moves the leverage way out front for a light tractor.

Here I am with all this fancy s#$t and I still just use the safety chains over the top edge of the bucket to move the trailers around. I have the nice forks with receiver built in, I have the QH 3pt with the hitch built in etc. For me it's just faster using the chains.

Before the nanny police get on me about using the safety chains to move the trailer around, it is a dual purpose exercise. I am also "testing" the chains integrity every time.

Plus for me I need the added maneuverability provided by front mounting things.

The draw bar is WAY too low to do anything with the travel trailer.

Been doing it that way for years around the shop yard. Sometimes the forks are on the JD110, I'll use the hooks in the Dring.

Grapple hydraulic hose repair. I somehow got a branch jammed by the cylinder and compromised the hose. I'll get a new one made up tomorrow.

100% agree, a front mounted hitch is a world of difference in moving trailers. Think aircraft tug. You can turn that sucker on a dime with full visibility. Been using a front mounted ball on tractors for years moving boat and ATV/UTV trailers. Love it set up in the front.

Started fixing my gravel drive and putting in a swale with my box scraper. The arrival of the scraper, last week, completes my tractor purchase I started in March. Three months to receive the tractor & almost 4 for the scraper.

I bought one of these tool box holders from bota products. I cut it, welded it up so it was fitted across the back. I liked it so much I ordered one for the other side. This allowed me to delete the flimsy cross brace that was taking a beating from my top link.

Cleaned up my driveway side edges by hand picking up big rocks. Makes brush hogging the grass edges more fun now.

Wished you lived close. I would take every one of those rocks for my drainage ditch. Helps keep erosion down. Great looking tractor.

Thanks, been alot of "chain gang" lol type work picking those up. Probably picked up around eight bucket loads already. Hopefully only a few stray rocks left.
