I got my B2601 a few weeks ago, so far have 7 hrs on it. I use it mostly for landscaping my new acreage, it 5 acres 1 grass rest bush. I find the 2601 very capable for the work I'm doing. I've got experience running the JD 1023E and 1025R, the Kubota is better all around. My parents have to 1023E and when you have the FEL loaded and go to lift or tilt fel will drop 2 to 3" than do the function(my truck got a dent in the top of the box side from this), my sisters 1025R does the same just not as bad. My B2601 with the bucket so loaded it can't lift it to full height and it doesn't drop or do anything weird. I'm running with the Kubota ballest box on the 3pt with about 600lbs+ and find the tractor very stable when using the FEL. I'm planning on getting a pto driven woodchipper, 3rd function kit and grapple, and blade. I got led headlights on the way, and planning what I'm going to get for work lights.

Nice!
Welcome!
You need to upgrade that spreader to a Earthway with pneumatic tires.
oh, and get all that kids stuff and pack it into the basement, you're going to need that room in the garage for the attachements. I'll give you $1,000 for that wood on the saw horses. :geek:

I love that little tractor. It is the perfect size. So easy to get on/off of. 3 range HST (unlike the BX). If it had a turbo I would get it. At my altitude it is a requirement.

The Kubota rtv1100 has the same motor and you can get a turbo kit for that, I'm sure with some small mods it would work.

Ya but for that much more I can just get a LX3310 which has turbo.... The kit with the install is like $4000.

How many hours on her in that pic? She looks to shiny to have been worked.

That is a great size machine for that acreage. I have 4 acres and I ordered an Lx2610, starting to think I should have gone with B2601 and just saved myself some money as the Lx will be a little harder to maneuver in my woods. I had a B2601 in the past and it worked great, was able to remove above ground pool in back yard and re grade the whole back yard with a 60” box blade. I was also able to grade our 3/4 mile road with that box blade and use the 3pt to pull a ton of posts from old deck around my pool. The high 3pt lift capacity is something to remember, you can get a lot of vertical lift out of that thing! I would attach a board to the wooden posts and then just use quick hitch to grab onto it with lower open pin catch areas and it’d just lift them out of the ground, cement and all!

Agreed, however, I think you’ll enjoy the LX2610. The tractors always shrink when you get them home.
