Just received BX23S. Ballast already installed?

This is my first post. Please forgive any errors-newbie mistakes. Spent weekend hunting down RV antifreeze for ballast. Got twelve gallons for both rear tires. Put tractor up,on stabilizers to check air pressure and found one side was twenty psi and liquid up to,top of rim. Other side was eighty psi and liquid to top of rim. Bled air out at twelve o'clock down to twenty psi for this wheel.
Do hey come from factory with ballast?.

No, they don’t come filled from the factory, but it seems most dealers add ballast in the tires by default. Do they have any stickers on them? Around here, if they have Rimguard, they will have a little Rimguard sticker.

No they normally do not come with tire ballast. Nor should their be eighty psi in the tire. 20 psi might still be to high. A lot of times the low teens will work better.

And ask away with the questions but you need to sit down and read the manual. The better you understand the manual the better operator you will be. It will also help you ask good questions.

No stickers about Rimguard ballast. I think they added water. Someone forgot to bleed air out after filling. Fluid that came out into my pressure gauge had no odor, looked like dirty water and did not leave any crystals after it dried. Hope my gauge will be OK. Had read manual through and was getting the rig ready for some work with a belly mower after removing the FEL and the Backhoe. Was checking tire pressure when I found the ballast.

Take the tire off the rim and you'll know for sure if they are weighted. My rear tires felt like they weighed 100 pounds each.
