Do you know of a good source, either in specific, or generally where to look? I don't think I've seen that at Home Depot.
I bought it local to me at a place called Site Supply.

Finally got the tree down. Instead of trying to dig up the stump I found a local guy with a green machine and a stump grinder. So I paid him to destroy it for me. Almost 3’ across. Glad I took it down before it fell on something or someone. I was surprised how much the stump grinder moved the machine. Im not sure I’d trust the turnbuckles on the Kubota to take that much abuse

that looked like a big tree!

WM grinder must be a 2 ticket ride on 1025r. Surprised he didnt cut the stump down at least just above the ground. Lastly, that grinder cuts from the left side, appears that he's grinding from the right

that thing is a pain in the neck but it works really well, beats paying a tree service $250 per stump like they charge around here.

I cut the stump..... a pro came and dropped the tree to where you see it in the pic. It was a trade deal, he dropped the tree and i tilled his garden. had to hit it from three sides with the chainsaw. The chips shot out to the left, I’ve never used one so I have no idea if he knew what he was doing, but the stup has been turned into a pile of chips. So I won’t complain. He charged me 150 cdn. Which is cheaper then renting one.

that turned out great, what a deal trading a till!
does the dark brown discolored center of the limb mean it was dying?

ya, that’s all rot, soft like a sponge. There was even a hollow spot inside the tree.

It’s been a crazy busy few weeks, not much tractor time because other projects are piling up. Decided today I needed to start getting the rest of the dirt out and prepping for the pit run. Used the scarificers to break up the dirt and the Bucket to move it. Got about an hr done and then this happened. It was like tossing an anchor out. Stopped me dead in my tracks.

ughhhhh!
Just last week I had one of those spring clips work themselves out completely. I only happened to notice the lift pin was half out while leveling the implement. Is that what happened?

That’s the only thing I think could have happened. Whenever I have something on the back. I always lift to full height when moving. I am surprised that clip came out. I emailed the dealer to find out if this is covered by Kubota. When it popped out I wasn’t even using the blade. I was driving across the property with a bucket of dirt.

what luck :( thankfully, you were on flat ground, and not traversing a slope, it could have been much worse.

It was only by chance I saw the lift pin half out the bushing while leveling the brush hog. The circular twist lock ring literally just disappeared. I stuck a cotter pin in and twisted it up with pliers. I may do it to the other side too. I had only removed that ring once, and it was not deformed when I put it back. The round locking lynch pins are another thing I'm replacing with the squeeze kind.

Ktac covers mishaps, hopefully you'll be fixed up for just the deductible. That would have been a code brown for me, glad you are ok

Dealer emailed me back. Warranty will replace the busted parts. So that’s great news! I doubt they are too expense. I took the 3 point off and only the top link and the left arm seem to be bent.

Finally got the driveway expansion useable. I spread out the 20 tons in about 20 min. The used the box blade to level it. Filled the roller with water and it’s good for a few weeks. Plan is once my truck is fixed to move my camper onto the yard. Then get another load, start at the side of the garage and spread it and level it all so that it will look the same.

Oh buddy.... we dropped down to 2 vehicles, for 3 drivers. Now I’m back to 3 vehicles and I don’t have my 21 Silverado yet. Once I get the saw mill going and I can make my pole barn, that till clear up more driveway space as I will be able to park a bunch of stuff out back.

looks great
but....
2 weks from now it'll be too small, again.......;)

Finally done! Raining today. So I’m taking a day off from yard work. After a week I will roll it. Then fill in any low spots. Should be good for another few years.

Very nice! (y)

Is the top coat the 2-minus you mentioned before?

I've tried several different types of stone over the years. Have some grade and water issues on occasion. Always looking at options...

This year's work was crusher run.

Yup I finish it with the 2”- because of the clay. I’d do stone dust but it would just disappear.
