Kubota b7510 - priced right?

Trying to get a kubota for use on a small 3 acre lot. We deal with horse stuff, some light tree work, and will need to till, seed, and smooth out fields sometimes. Also just a lot of landscaping type chores.

I have been looking at old b's and ran across a b7510, the price seems high, but could be right...

$7500 "firm",,,
Kubota b7510, 4wd, hydrostatic, with loader (and power steering).
Also comes with a 6' befco finish mower - seller stated it is "well used"... this is nice to have, but not sure I "need" it.
670 hours

I would describe the appearance/cosmetics to be in fair condition, but seller states it runs well and has no leaks. I am a function of form guy, so not a big deal if mechanicals are in good shape.

Is ht b7510 a fairly reliable model? Are parts/attachments readily available? Is this worth taking a look at? I know the basics question to ask, but look for some "expert" opinion on things to look for or specific questions to ask related to this particular b7510.

I also found and old b7200 with FEL for $5500... I love the look of this little guy, but feel like it might be undersized and more trouble being an older model.

Any feedback is great appreciated! Thanks.

I just checked out some online sales on "tractorhouse.com" and maybe this is priced well and worth checking out? I think it priced "fairly" bc it is beat up cosmetically, but I guess that might be worrisome in terms of how well it was maintained mechanically, etc, also.

I bought my first Kubota in 05 a brand new B7510 with FEL and rear blade and I loved that thing. I mowed 2.5 acres with a lot of trees and many other obstacles with the mmm "mid mount mower" for 6 years. Plowed snow, graded drives and multiple other task in the 6 years I had it with not one problem.. if I remember right I think it was a 21hp...

Thanks for the info, very good to hear a "success story".

One additional question... the loader on the one I am looking at appears to be a "LA273". I cannot find much info on it. But generally speaking the b7510 does not have a "quick attach" option, correct?

Correct that was before they started the quick tach. Someone may make the adaptor though.

I'm sure there will be others to chime in that are more up to date with the 7510. It's been a while..

In my area you can't find a B series or BX with FEL for $7500. It would sell pretty quick in WI. I sold my BX in 2 days for $8500. Felt bad because I paid les than that years prior but the used market is crazy. Been waiting for my new B and it finally is coming in. Only reason I did not buy used is the prices are too high in my area. If I found a decent B7510 I would have bought it.

otteridiz - Can't help you with the price question, but I can speak to the the B75XX durability and ability. I have a B7500 that I bought new in June 2003. It came with a 60" MMM and the LA302 FEL. I use it on 12+ acres to mow, plow & blow snow, maintain tree lines, move & stack bulk materials, and for general landscaping tasks. It is within a few hours of having 2,500 hours. I have maintained it myself. The only failures, other than operator inflicted damage, have been hydraulic hoses which I replaced myself. I did elect to have my dealer replace a major hydraulic hose that runs under the tractor. Last summer, I added a Tach-N-Go quick hitch and pallet forks from Jere Dunn at mytractortools.com. My Tach-N-Go was the 1st QA that Jere had made for a B7500. It came out great. I highly recommend it. I now mow lawn and fields with the FEL (less bucket, forks) installed, which is a tremendous time and effort saver, as there are days when I mow, use the buckets, and use the pallet forks.

I hope this helps!
