Warranty Service.. Not Happy..

Very frustrating, I know. I told the salesman after I discovered they did not add oil to the front axle that I did not even want them touching my tractor anymore. That was when he offered to have a tech come out and inspect it. They installed the backhoe and left a fitting loose and it eventually spun free dumping most of my hydraulic fluid. They ran the wire for my 3rd function between the hydraulic loader lines and loader frame, chafing the wire and blowing a few fuses before I found the issue. I regarded the wire and fitting issue as honest mistakes, but when I realized there was no oil in the front axle, that was a bit much.

Like I told the salesman, "I thought there would have been a bit more professionalism from a Kubota dealer."

Makes me wonder how the green and yellow places behave.

That's what I told the owner.. he assured me no one was doing that!

He also said they were behind and there's no way someone had time to put 2 hours on the tractor.. so I guess someone left the key on and siphened the fuel..

I couldn't promise my reaction would be that good! I would be expecting someone to fess up how they burnt off the fuel and added 1.8hrs to adjust the FEL. Did they send it out on a job?? I know a few have mentioned to chock it up as experience but I'd be pissed.

Life is too short to get upset about this, since there is nothing that can be done about it now. Your mental and physical health is more important than any tractor. I have scratched my tractor doing work, and I know your feelings, but, as I said, life it too short to get worked up about it. The clock keeps ticking away, and we never know when our time is up.

This is actually a very logical explanation, never thought of that possibility.

Very possible if say the fuel filter was changed. If I were the dealer I wouldn't want a customer to receive a tractor that has not had the air run out of the fuel system.

if the hourmeter is electric, leaving the key on can run up the hours too. That happened quite frequently when I did dealer work, no way around it other than spending a bunch of time trying to figure out how to disable the hourmeter while repairs or service was being performed. I'm not familiar with that tractor to know if it's electric or mechanical, or if the hourmeter actually counts hours with the key on only (engine off).

I have a Vermeer wood chipper that the Hobbs hour meter jumps 10 hours or more at a time. The rental place kept track of the hours, and at 1000 hours traded it. They based the hours on the rental time out and back in, and deducted for travel time, etc.. It wasn't exact, but it was close enough. They did oil changes ever 50 hours, and hydraulic changes every 250 hours. It was on its second hour meter, and this one registered about 7000 hours, plus or minus a few hundred. They gave me a new hour meter to install, however, I wanted to see it for myself. In working the chipper for about 5 hours, it registered a hair over 42 hours. Too many vibrations to keep the meter working properly.
