I'm new to the forum and to Kubota. I purchased a LX2610SU from my local dealer. I saw it had an option to add cruise control and opted for it to save my leg on long days of bush hogging my field vs standing on HST pedal. When my tractor was finally delivered they told me they had to remove the Parking brake lever to install the cruise control lever. I thought that was very odd since there is obviously an empty place right next to it for the cruise control that is standard on the non "SU" model. Does this sound correct? So I have no parking break on a brand new tractor and I see this as a major safety concern as I have already had issue with it rolling. For the time being I just bury the bucket when I park it.

Take a pic!! I have a cab and the parking brake lever is above the pedals. So the SU’s have the lever on the right side of the seat?

That makes no sense. Both of mine are located right there on the left side like in your pic above. B2650 here.
That is exactly what I expected, but not what I got. The lever for cruise control works, but it illuminates the parking break light on the screen. I feel like someone missed something when installing it.

The question is, "Does that sound correct?" The answer is "No!". I had to re-read your post to see if I had misread it. I would go back to the dealer and ask them what they were thinking of when they did it. Removing an important safety feature for any reason does not make sense. As an example, how are you supposed to safely use a PTO driven wood chipper without a parking brake? The instructions in your operator's manual probably refer to the parking brake that you don't have. For what it is worth, I have attached the parts breakout for the parking brake you should have.
Let us know how you make out with this issue. I am curious to hear what kind of "yeah, yeah, that's my story and I am sticking to it" answer you get.

Thank you for this breakout. Do you happen to have the one for the standard LX2610 model? It should show the CC lever as well.
I have a cab model. The parking break looks like it might have a cutout for something else. But my cruise control is on the control panel to the right of the seat
My 4wd is below the seat.
I never would have guessed the controls were so different between the SU and standard models.

I have an LX2610SU with cruise and it’s set up just like 19thSF’s pic shows. Parking brake on left and cruise on right.

That’s insane. I grew up operating (and still sometimes operate) tractors from the early 50’s when safety wasn’t an afterthought, it was a never thought. Even those have parking brakes. I know you can ground implements to sort of hold it, but you can’t operate a tractor without a parking brake.
What would you do if you have a rotary cutter on the back and the loader off? I do that quite often. You can’t very well ground a rotary cutter with a wheel on the back of it.Guess I’d have to get a sand anchor and chain it to the axle.
That’s nuts. If the shop manager sees that and isn’t absolutely mortified, I would not feel safe letting that shop ever touch anything of mine ever again.

If the shop isn’t willing to fix the problem at no cost to you (including transporting the tractor), I’d escalate it to Kubota USA. Or call and talk to another dealer in the area.
I can already smell the money from the lawsuits that would occur if this was a thing.

Any dealer that removed the parking brake on a new tractor, or actually any tractor at all, and sent it out to a customer, should have their dealership pulled by Kubota. That’s just a huge safety issue that could cause serious injuries and damage.
Out of curiosity, the LX2610 Cab has the cruise control to the right of the seat. and the 4wd lever is below the seat.
And it appears the SU and the standard models have the cruise control above the brake pedals? And the 4wd control to the right of the seat?
