Looking to replace the turnbuckle type stabilizers on my MX4800 HST. Tractor only has 50 hours and they are already bent, basically useless at this point. They are very cheaply made.

I've seen sets of the telescoping types on some L series tractors and other MX series as well, and was wondering if anyone knew the part #, or alternative non Kubota part that would fit.

Thanks!

Update. Got quoted by a local dealer at $405 + shipping for a set of telescoping stabilizers that fit the MX. Of course, in an attempt to monopolize sales, they won’t give me a part #. I’m definitely not paying $405 + for these parts.

TA140-39606 is the part number for the MX5200 sway links. Maybe they will fit?

I do not know their pricing but they make the stabilizers.

Thanks for the lead. I got a nice message from Mark Hodge at Stabilworks. Unfortunately, his lead time is several months and a set of telescoping stabilizers wont be ready til the winter. I need some much sooner.

Sounds like they are quoting for the order number MX9495 telescoping link ends and stabilizers (see below attachment from wholegoods). So according to this the MX5200 telescoping stabilizers part number that Matt Ellerbee provided "should fit".

They are just under $200 for the L series, the MX version, is seriously heavier and bigger, my MX 5800 came with them, I would be lost without them. Sorry to say it but you should not stick with the turn buckles. I replaced 2 sets of turn buckles on my L series, best investment I ever made.

Google the part number above I found this part for less than $200 a pair on eBay, a bargain!

I'm gonna take a stab at the TA140-39606 stabilizers. It seems that they will fit the MX4800, if Whiolegoods lists them as an option for that model. Found a set on ebay for $171.

I cant believe they outfit the any of the MX series with the flimsy turnbuckles. Kinda chaps my hide a bit.

UPDATE: The TA140-39606 telescoping stabilizers fit seamlessly on my MX4800. These are a must and I would recommend anyone using the turnbuckle stabilizers to swap ASAP. Telescoping ones make adding and removing implements soooooo much easier.

I found a set of two on ebay for $154 shipped. What a bargain!
