Suspension seat

Has anyone found or fabricated an air ride or a mechanical suspension seat for a B1700 or B3200? This past weekend mowing just beat the tar out of my back and I’m looking for something to absorb the impact other than my spine. Northern Tool has a mechanical setup for around 300. All air ride seats are around 1000. That’s a lot of chiropractor sessions. Thought about lowering tire pressure but the 1700 has calcium chloride in the rears so I would have to find a dealer to remove it.

Same reason back in 2005 I purchased my B7510. I had a JD 345 lawn tractor and decided to go larger in hopes to get a nicer seat. My back just couldn’t take anymore. Come to find out even that tractor had no cushion, just the old spring suspension, not near enough. The dealer just happened to have a seat from a larger Kubota, not sure what tractor but they said it was damaged in transit so he give me that seat and I adapted it nicely. I’m very picky and I could not see anything wrong with it, What a difference it made!

Thought about lowering tire pressure but the 1700 has calcium chloride in the rears so I would have to find a dealer to remove it.

You should be able to reduce the air pressure even with loaded tires.

Move the tractor until the tire valve is at 12:00 and you should be able to let some air out. Repeat on yhe other side.
