Thought about getting a pellet pistol to do some target practice with, don't want to fire regular ammo that I can't replace easily. Checked many of the hunting and reloading companies, much of what they list is back ordered. Guess I wasn't the first to consider this option.

.177, or .22?

I've never been very successful with pistols, so I got a .22 air rifle a while back for squirrel re-education around the house. The missus shoots better with it than I do.

hard to find anything that is related to shooting now.

i bought a benamin last year and now they are on eternal backorder. My friend wants one but doesn't use the net so I tried to order-no bueno. No telling when it will release.

A PCP is really nice, but kind of a pain to fill up the tank.

I picked up one of these probably 10 or so years ago now and have been very pleased with it but pretty sure if you were to talk to any of the squirrels or raccoons around here they would tell you different. ;)

I should have mentioned that the scope that it comes with sucks however any scope for a 22 rifle turns it into a great gun. Do not make the mistake of putting a scope meant for a 30 caliber rife on it because they won't hold up to a pellet gun.

I had my BB gun taken from me. My daughter had her gun taken from her also.

A few years ago, wife bought the daughter and I bb guns for Christmas. We thought since it was cold outside, we would setup a shooting course in the house. Everything was going well and daughter and I was having lots of fun until mom came home from work and walked right into our firing range.

Mom/wife was not happy and we haven't seen those two bb/belt rifles since that day. So I know we have two practically brand new guns around the house some where.

True story: Back when I was old enough to know better I told my sister that if she could hold her thumb on the muzzle of my Red Ryder tight enough that the BB could not come out. Well technically that might be correct but she could not and it did. You can still see the scar on her thumb.

Yup, just checked, still have the scar on my right hand where I did the same thing to myself when I was a kid, to see how much power my bb rifle had. Only takes one time to find out how dumb it was to try.
