This was at the summer camp for kids I do volunteer maintenance at....

Another volunteer was mowing the dam face and started sliding.

Once you start, your along for the ride....

Happened before in the 1970’s with a Ford 8N...

Power washed once with distilled water, removed exhaust and intake manifolds, washed again. Oil pan plug removed, injectors removed, fresh oil into injector holes...

Letting it dry...

Looks bad, engine was running when it went swimming...

😮 Hope you can get it running again and I'd mark off that area as push mower or string trimmer only for the future.

Water going in through the intake is NEVER a good thing. With any luck, it shut down on the first compression stroke with water in a cylinder, but I'm not that lucky.

Good luck with it. Hope nothing broke too bad.
