Mowed my yard,60" mower plus my 48" tow behind i smashed down a lot of grass in a very short time. Very happy with 9 acres cut in 3-1/2 hours. Son was running my 48" husqvarna around house as it was still a little wet and rice tires like to leave marks.

Nice job on the driveway. Did similar with mine earlier, and posted some pics.
Much smaller area than yours. How much stone to do that?

Worked on pushing a brush pile so it can be burned. The previous owners of this house left a large (well, size is all relative right :) ) brush pile. Didn't want to burn it where is was because it was only feet from the base of several pine trees.

RTGT has a grapple on his tractor, and said he would love to come over and help, but it appears he's out of town.

In addition to the termite swarm I saw a few weeks ago, I just happen to see 3 rats run in to the pile tonight, so this pile has to go! and I also chased out a bunny, but they have a home in the neighbors pines so I'm not too worried about him.

Changed the front pinion seal, it's amazing how much stuff leaks if you put some real gear oil in a machine. You know I mean actually top it off and not have brown sludge running through the gears.

Very frustrated with the previous owner

Thanks. I'm not sure exactly how much rock was brought in since I haven't received the bill yet. But lets just say a lot. It was just two truck loads, but each truck was rather large and had 5 axles under them.

Continued working to fill in old pool. Dug out corner of pool and made road way into pool to begin tearing down side walls:):) Big job and impressed with BX25 so far

PS Air conditioning not working today :D
My hard core heavy equipment operator buddy cant see any use in a backhoe on a tractor. Calls them useless. Here is a fine example of "sure beats doin it by hand"

That is a jungle,NIW. I wish you well in your endeavor-to get Daren to come mow it. I cant imagine letting my 9 acres get away from me.

Yesterday was nudging 85 and very humid. Dragged my window shaker out and hung it in the shop. It was nice in the later part of the day.i need it decent in there, been super busy, want to keep my head in the game. Get too hot and start making mistakes.

When its really hot i avoid cutting grass, dont want to risk overheating kubota.
It has been a couple years, last night was the first time i left it outside since i got it.

Go slow and take lots of breaks. If your getting too hot and making mistakes, then you have actually gone too long in the heat, and are starting to get heat exhaustion. If you can get it in your area, drink one Gatorade for every 3 to 4 waters to help keep your energy up. And stay away from caffeine. It will dehydrate you faster. Stay away from coffee and tea as well. For every cup of coffee or tea, you lose 2 cups of water in your system ;)

And if possible start early before it gets hot. Few years ago, we had a drought and heat wave come through the area. Average temps at noon were 120 degrees for a month with an 80 percent humidity  Shop we were in had one bay door, and pass door facing the wrong direction. So no breeze. Shop was 130 plus by noon  We had projects that had to get done. We would start at 4 am and work till noon at the shop. Then deliver the equipment and head home for the day. One person would handle afternoon service calls, but would hang in the ac, unless called out somewhere.
