Hi, I have recently fitted a second hand loader to my Kubota. I am having issues with the spool. The loader will go up and down, the bucket will open but it will not close, if you press the lever up fully it extends, but when you press down nothing happens, however when you press the lever up a little bit, it comes down? (I think this is just releasing the pressure from the cylinder. If all this makes sense.

Sounds like you have a line reversed or maybe a quick connect not fully connected.

How many lines connect to your loader valve? 6 or 7

Where did you connect into the tractor's hydraulic system.

Sounds like something is not connected properly

What loader did you put on it?
It sounds and looks like you have lines connected up wrong, either to or from the spool valve either on the supply and return side or the delivery side.

Hard to tell in the video. It it looks like you have the dump/curl hooked up to your loader up and down function. If thats the case, the “float” function of the up and down can cause the curl to react odd. does your loader valve have a left and right function? Your dump and curl function should joystick left To curl and right dump. joystick down to lift and up to lower. At least that’s the way the tractors I’ve used have been. I’m sure some may be different.

It’s a b2150 and we fitted at la300 loader, we had to modify the sub frame as the wheels caught the frame, so chopped a bit out and welded in some support.
