Private Messaging

I need help with how to private message another member. I think I know how but would not want to do it without knowing I have done it correctly, as to not having my comment end up publicly posted.

I think by clicking on the little envelope on the upper right of the screen then typing in the members name, then typing in my comments that they would only be seen by that member. Can someone confirm that this is the correct way to send a private message.

On this site, it’s called “Conversation”. Yes, it’s the little envelope. Feel free to test send a message to me.

You can also click on the members name to start a private conversation

You hover you mouse pointer on the members avatar in the upper left hand corner of the post and then click on "Start Conversation". So in my case you would click on the ugly dude in my profile and hit "Start conversation" and you are now private messaging.
