Just got a LX2610. It has a hole on each side of loader arm on the bottom that I take is for attaching a chain. Is this a good spot for lifting objects?
The Bolt on Hooks, are simple to install, has worked well on my bucket, and provides nice place to quickly hook a chain.I wouldn’t attach anything to the loader arms directly. Look into bolt on hooks for your bucket or pallet forks. You don’t want to risk damaging your loader.
It seems best to lift things with the loader in a way that divides the weight equally between the loader arms, to prevent twisting/tweaking of the assembly.Just got a LX2610. I think those are used with mechanical self leveling bracketsJust got a LX2610. It has a hole on each side of loader arm on the bottom that I take is for attaching a chain. Is this a good spot for lifting objects?
Mostly for fitting the boom parts into jigs so that robotic welders can make the same part the same way over and over. Sometimes, the same holes are also used for painting. If you've never been in an automobile plant, it is fascinating to watch one being built from the ground up.I always figure 'extra' holes in weird spots might be for MAKING the parts.....say to hang onto hooks during preping, painting, etc.
I like these ideas!I use my clamp on bucket hitch ball/hook setup for the light stuff. (1st pic)
I have a 5/16 chain with a removable grab hook that I pass through the welded angle I added on top my bucket for the heavy stuff. (2nd pic)
Bill, where can I get that 1st one the ball and hook?I use my clamp on bucket hitch ball/hook setup for the light stuff. (1st pic)

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that @Lil Foot fabricated that setup himself. I'm a bit jealous though and I may steal his idea to make one for myself.Bill, where can I get that 1st one the ball and hook?
