Just a post to kind of reinforce what some other owners have noticed, that sometimes hose clamps from the factory just aren't tight enough
My tractor was delivered to me with I believe 4 hours on it. I drove it around the front field then parked it in the machine shed. A couple weeks went by and my neighbor had 2 cords of wood dumped in his driveway and I reasoned that it would be a simple thing to scoop up the wood and dump it wherever he wanted it, off his driveway.
Well turns out he wanted both of his truck beds full of wood, but each have camper-covers (caps?) on them, so I had to scoop what I could and get close to the tail gate, then get off and we'd hand load the split wood into the trucks kind of stacking it to the top as much as we could.
I was up there 3 hours!!! (I also noticed the concrete shaved off a lot of the corners of my loader . I was blissfully ignorant of either how abrasive concrete is..., or how soft the cutting edge on my loader is (I'm going to try to keep it in the dirt going forward)
Anyway, when it was all done, I parked it and didn't go near it for a couple days. When I did, I noticed fluid on the floor right beneath the battery dead center. (By now I have a little over 7 hours on it)
I couldn't see where it was coming from, but it was all over where the battery sits. I figured that I would remove the battery to have a look, but decided I'd send some pictures to my dealer to see if he had any thoughts in advance.
He told me he'd send a man out as my rear blade and right fender handle came in.
The service guy removed the battery and it was the lower hose going into the Hydraulic cooler. He went ahead and tightened both top and bottom hoses and we ran the engine at 1,300 rpm for a good while to make certain it wouldn't leak again.
That stuff happens - NBD, but I've watched a few YouTube's where folks have radiator hoses leaking too. I just hope Kubota watches them too...
Love how quiet and smooth this tractor runs!
