Like UpNorthMI, I have found myself a Berkelmans dump trailer. Mine is used and only 6' long but I think it's going to be perfect (maybe a little big) for the BX. I made a short video of the trip to pick it up as well as showing it off briefly once I got it home. Now I have to get moving on rear remotes.

That’s pretty cool, the bracket attached under the rear of the box. Is that to prevent the frame from tipping when you dump it? Too much rear weight will just lift the 3pt up.

I think you might be looking at the tail gate latch mechanism. When you start to dump, that latch drops to allow the tailgate to swing open with gravity. When you lower the dump box to the down position the latch pops back up to prevent the gate from opening while moving. Since I don't have any footage of me actually using the trailer yet ... you should check out Berkelmans own video of the trailer as it shows the features nicely.

Nice, I like it! Repairs don't look too serious, looks like a great deal.

Nice score! I'd be all over one at that price.

James, it looks great, rim and hub should be an easy repair. I am so ready to get my trailer out but we still have knee deep snow at my place in Northern MI. I’m adding rear remotes to my L3200 next week, at least dealer is, so all my tractors have rear remotes.
I think the 6’ is a nice compact size for smaller tractor, I purchased 8’ as most of my use will be timber hauling for firewood and brush hauling to a burn pile.
The jack is well built, many times I will use mine alone, so will use my L3901 that has a FEL and small grapple. I will jack it, detach it, load it, attach it again and then transport. When I have help, L3200 to pull trailer and L3901 to load.

I see another tractor in your future! Good luck with your tilt trailer, excellent value purchase.

I have to pay for the KX040 coming this spring first haha. I hear you about the snow.

Well I got both wheel hubs replaced and one new rim - so I suppose you could call this dump trailer “restored” and ready to go! I used hub kits suitable for “most 3500 lb axles” which may mean I have effectively reduced the capacity of the trailer slightly but I’m fine with that (2-ton dump trailer) ..... the BX will be the limiting factor, not the hubs/bearings.

I’ve got a video uploading covering the hub replacement and I will post it when my slooooowww country-internet finishes.

Have you seen this option for rear hydraulics?

Nice video, can I please repectfully suggest that you point out (visually or verbally) the safety supports you used when hitting the stub axles out. As a first responder and ER nurse in a rural area, I have had the unfortunate job of pulling people out from under cars and equipment that they worked on with only a hydralic wheeled jack when either the load fell off the jack, the jack lowered due to malfiunction or accidental releasing of the valve.

Thank you for your comment! At the 26:00 minute mark I point out, visualy by on-screen text, that "you should support the trailer with an axle stand for added safety". I don't always practice what I preach but I'm getting better. Thank you for your service as a first responder.
