This is not an increase the engine speed for more horsepower thread. (I found the dumpster fire threads when searching this topic.)

I have a new to me L3710HST with 800 hrs. I just did the full 800 hr service. The PTO triangle on the instrument panel is at 2500 rpm (2475 per the WSM) but it only goes to about 2400 rpm at full throttle under no load. The WSM shows the rated revolution to be 2600rpm. Could this be casued by weak internal governor springs? Something else?

Do you get the same with the foot feed and hand throttle? Could just be a cable or linkage adjustment. Some hand throttles have an adjustable stop.

very likely a linkage adjustment issue. I had to adjust the cables and linkages quite a bit on those tractors.

if not, possible fuel partially starving?

Yep most likely stop adjustment on the linkage, easy fix.
Get the WSM and it will show you how.
Kubotabooks.com has the 2 part WSM on their site.

Thank you! I have both the printed WSM and the 2 part pdf. I'll for the linkage adjustment procedure. I assume the linkage you both are referring to is the cable from the hand throttle lever to the speed control linkage.

It runs smoothly otherwise so I hope I don't have a fuel delivery issue.

There is no foot feed. It is an HST. Just the hand throttle for engine speed.

I'll look for the adjustment this afternoon.
