I found myself in a similar situation recently. A B2610 would do what I needed but an LX2610 would do it faster and more efficiently. You may need to wait a bit on some non-essential attachments but it is far cheaper to do that than selling a newer tractor for a 20% loss to upgrade to a larger machine. Fortunately, I only took a $1,500 hit on the used garden tractor that I purchased and then sold a year later when I realized that I needed something larger. The loss would be much greater on a new machine. As others have mentioned, nobody has ever said I wish I bought a smaller tractor. I would invest in the tractor with essential attachments and add more attachments as you are able.
