My son and I took a motorcycle ride out west in 2002. One of our stops was Yellowstone National Park. When we arrived there in late May the park had just opened (the signs still said it was closed). We stayed in West Yellowstone and when we left we exited the Northeast corner of the park and went through this pass (I forget the name) on our way to Red Lodge. It started snowing so hard we had to pull over. Fortunately it stopped and we got through ok. It was definitely as cold as it looks.
The Gates were a group of gates comprising a site-specific work of art by Bulgarian artist Christo Yavacheff and French artist Jeanne-Claude, known jointly as Christo and Jeanne-Claude. The artists installed 7,503 vinyl "gates" along 23 miles (37 km) of pathways in Central Park in New York City. From each gate hung a panel of deep saffron-colored nylon fabric. The exhibit ran from February 12, 2005 through February 27, 2005.

I've never known anything else so I don't mind. It's really not that bad. We have 9 months of winter and 3 months of poor sledding!

Reminds me of a secretary our research group had a few years back. Stunningly beautiful & sexy, with a DEEP tan. Saw her years later, and her skin looked just like that.
Great photos! They remind me of the crop dusters I used to watch in Quebec when I was a kid. I was fascinated by their skill and precision and thought it would be so exciting to do that kind of work. Unfortunately, I never did learn how to fly but I still love seeing those biplanes.
Sort of like this Amish kid's mower?Had a one row cotton picker that would smoke that much when you cranked it up!!
