I'm sure this has been talked about but couldn't locate the thread on this forum. Being that I'm in Canada I can only get UDT from Kubota. When I asked them about SUDT the dealer tells me its not sold in Canada due to the climate. What? So now Canada has no weather equivalent the the US. Not buying the answer. If SUDT is indeed a better fluid, as in fully synthetic, I'll get some from the States when the travel restrictions are lifted.

I recall a thread from not to long ago where the Canadian equivalent to S-UDT 2 was called Premium UDT.

The rumour is ‘Premium UDT’, the only Kubota oil in Canada is the same as SUDT in the US.
It stays liquid at -30°c, this I can confirm.
There’s a Petro Canada oil that’s basically the same too, it meets the Kubota spec, it smells and looks the same too, but is no difference in price.

So I guess I should have said SUDT2 as this is stated as being full synthetic. Nothing on the premium UDT says its synthetic. Or is it?

I've used Premium UDT, SUDT and SUDT2 as I replace my oil seasonally. I wanted to try the US oil just to see.......and I found absolutely no difference in sound or performance.
My weather ranges from 30*C in summer down to minus 40 *C/F in winter.

You are correct. The only UDT fluid carried by all the Kubota dealers in Canada is "Premium". No problems in cold weather. You would have heard about it considering the number of tractors kept outdoors in Canadian winters.
