Same for us as the kids grew up. Wife and I have to have an extra $100 per pay period taken out to avoid paying in at the end of the year.We had identical twins December 28 years ago.
Holy smokes - - we doubled our exemptions (maybe child tax credit?) that year, and they hadn't even gotten out of NICU yet!! WOO HOO!! CHA CHING!
Fast forward years, and we lose 2 exemptions and child tax credit on December 28..... holy smokes....CHA CHING, but the other direction...
Can you believe that I received my stimulus payment on December 31? It came so fast that I missed it! I only started looking after January 7 on the day this thread started.
I have three bank accounts, none of which have much money in them. One is with the bank we have used for 40 years. Another is at the bank where I opened a home equity loan a while to buy the property next-door, and it’s convenient to keep it for other reasons. The third is with a bank that caters to military and veterans, and is very convenient to use if you’re outside the USA.
Anyway, I checked IRS.GOV because I was curious when my payment might be scheduled. I found out it was scheduled for January 4, but actually deposited into the third account on December 31!
30million put in a politicians pocket buys you a LOT of payback . I guess I'll get put in jail now.Ours was direct deposit and it's long gone. Being retired Federal and having a Federal Credit union account makes it easy.
I hear they want to do another and cover it with a loan from China and China wats collateral in the form of land here. Sounds to me like a bad deal every which way.
If you get this message, it means you aren't getting a direct payment. You, and I, will have to claim it as a credit on our 2020 tax return. I think it's called government efficiency. Last time I got direct deposited like the 2nd day.HUH,, you lucky guys I keep checking and get the message,, we dont have enough information on you,, WTF is that all about?
Ditto. Like I said, not sure how anyone can call a .5% rebate on taxes already paid a "stimulus". Must have been a creative accountant to come up with that fallacy. Yeesh. No, but I did get my quarterly payment in to help cover all the 600.00 checks.
I never have. My Trump flag flies under old glory to this day. Lots of folks around here have Trump signs in their yards yet.30million put in a politicians pocket buys you a LOT of payback . I guess I'll get put in jail now.
I stil didn't have a stimulus. I was too slow takeing down my campaign sign for the opposition
I see literally hundreds around here.Lots of folks around here have Trump signs in their yards yet.
We received a check in today's. Mail. It all went toward property tax. It's not doing any stimulatingI went to check on the IRS site, and I found out they have no records of me,, anybody else?
Did you file a tax return last year? If you are not required to file a 1040, or did not for some reason, you may not automatically get the stimulus payment. This year, file a tax return even if you are not required to and the automatic payments will happen. This information came from a friend of mine that worked for social security. He retired last year so his information is pretty current.HUH,, you lucky guys I keep checking and get the message,, we dont have enough information on you,, WTF is that all about?
