Hi all, My "new" B7100 has movement towards and backwards at the pivot point, when you turn the wheel. If you put in a spacer/shim at the pivot point, would you put it towards the front or rear?
Do not try putting any shim in it, there is a nut on the front of the pivot bolt. A wire clip is run thru a castle nut, remove the clip, snug the nut, back off to the first hole, reinsert the clip.Hi all, My "new" B7100 has movement towards and backwards at the pivot point, when you turn the wheel. Thanks that is a lot simpler!Do not try putting any shim in it, there is a nut on the front of the pivot bolt. A wire clip is run thru a castle nut, remove the clip, snug the nut, back off to the first hole, reinsert the clip.
White tiger said that the b7100 has the nut. Now all I have to do is climb under it! Beats taking things apart. How about one on either side? That'll keep the axle centered in the pivot. Also, on some older Kubota's there is a bolt that you can tighten to snug up that pivot point, not sure if the B7100 has it though.
