To remove and EGR valve they usually require a special tool to do it. It's not difficult though.

Dealers actually don't remove an EGR to clean them. At least I haven't come across one that does.

I can't speak to the Kubota's, but I would assume that they clean them the same way Deere does.

Back when I had full access to the deere software I would run the engine up to operating temperature. Then clicked on the "EGR Clean" tab in the tests and functions menu.

It would cycle the EGR valve through it's full range of motion.

I would do that up to 30ish times 😁😁😁 If the unit was still throwing an EGR code after that then I would swap it out and calibrate the new one.

Honestly though, if your using your tractor the way it's supposed to, you will get many years out of an EGR valve without issue.
I'm not sure how I could use the tractor any different. When I first start it, it's only moved 4 or 5 feet, just so it's outside the shelter then left to warm up at an rpm of around 1500 just until the temp needle starts to move. The tractor is never worked under 2200 rpms and when it's blowing snow more like 25 to 2600. This is the second time over the 5 years I've owned it this happened and if I remember correctly it was doing the same thing, blowing wet snow while going up an incline. It has 800 hours on it now and I'm not going to panic yet as it did complete it's bake cycle and after being shut down and restarted it's no longer showing a code, same as last time. I've just kept working through pretty much all of it's regins while at a high rpm but as stated only had the problem twice. Next time it's ready for a bake I'll stop working it until it finishes and see what happens. Hopefully it just got too hot trying to move that heavy wet snow while moving so slow, turtle low. I sure do appreciate everyones input and I will definitely let everyone know the out come but it could be a while because the only time it gets used this time of year is clearing snow and we're done with that for this year right.:):)

I haven't had a chance to have a look at it yet, probably today. Is there any place I could download the wsm for the 3560 that you know of?
I have a paper copy, bought before the pdf became popular. My computer is off being fixed (maybe). I’ll look for any info in paper copy and when it comes back can scan. in meantime could photograph with phone if I find anything relevant.

Thanks my friend, I should be able to find a download online. I see bay has them for 20 bucks and free shipping however by the time it gets here I'll probably have it fixed.

That sucks all around. Somedays, it just doesn’t pay to try to get anything done because everything breaks down.
I wouldn't know what to do if SOMETHING wasn't broken on the equipment I wanted to use. It's a way of life when the only luck you have is BAD.

I have an update and it's good news for a change. After searching I came across this post and post number 9 hit the nail on the head.

So I went to my dealer with the post printed off and right away they told me they had never heard of it but also after reading it he immediately told me they would take care of me as long as I did the work myself, not a problem. Turns out after he did some searching he did find the bulletin which had expired a year or 2 ago but again he insisted they would cover the parts and after looking them up it was only 15 or 20 bucks, a far cry from $1500.00 to replace the EGR, damn right I'm happy. I'll post a picture of the EGR and you can see how close it is to the exhaust, little wonder it was overheating when blowing heavy wet snow at a crawl. Just a bad design but chit happens. I'll post the part numbers after I pick them up in a few days. Thank you all for your input. Sorry, I forgot he printer off the parts and part numbers

I wonder if some kind of a heat shield would help or maybe a few wraps of fiberglass exhaust tape around the header

Yes my first thought was to get some header wrap like back in the day when I was running headers and my starter would take a hissy from the heat but then after searching I came across that thread about there being a bulletin put out on it from Kubota and they had a fix for it so hopefully within the next couple days the parts will be in to fix the problem. It's just a foil wrap insulation and some tie wraps to reduce the heat on the EGR to keep it from throwing the P2414 code.
