Actually the thickness isn’t a problem at about .188” thick. I’m not aware of molded ‘factory’ mats being available for the L’s stamped platform, so my solution was to precisely fit a flat shape. The rubber doesn’t curl or slide and no clips are required. Just a humble attempt and a simple method to share.
I haven't a clue as to availability as I have 2 M9000's not your model. The M9000's open station's take a one piece molded mat, very heavy and thick with pish pin securement fasteners, the cab model also takes a one piece mat, not quite as heavy though but both are insanely expensive from the dealer. I know, I've replaced them both.

Looks great! I would buy a set in a heartbeat! I was thinking of removing mine and getting them coated with the bedliner stuff, but I would prefer a mat.

A fine job to be sure! Like Gibby said, I too wish I could do stuff like some of you guys do.

They look great, nice job, I hate to see the floor scratched up too. If you do make more to sell, I’m interested, I believe my L3901 has the same floor as you L2501. I like that they are thin and not too bulky.

If you decide to make them available, I would buy a set for my L3301

Hello all. My Kubota and I are relatively new to the forum, and I have enjoyed reading posts, etc. This Summer I was tired of watching the orange platform on my L2501 get scratched from my boots when climbing on and off. So I designed and cut real rubber floor mats with my 60-watt Laser. They fit perfectly and can be lifted for cleaning and to wipe water/moisture easily. I didn’t want a rubber painted platform like some others I’ve seen. The left and right pads are independently replaceable. The orange and black scheme looks natural and provide the non-slip grip. Not sure if anybody has tried this approach yet.

I Would be interested in at least one set

One thing to consider if the laser melts the cut edges would be to use water jet cutting. I don't know if that is available near you but the cost is very reasonable, especially if you are putting together an "order". I would also be interested, regardless of fabrication method.

I just took delivery of a new L3901 and boy would I love to have a set of those!

Like others have said, there just has to be a market for them. You could probably gauge interest by setting up an "I'm Interested" kinda list.

If it looks doable, communicate cost, etc., and see where it goes.

Sure hope you decide to make some to sell though :)

gotta bout ~ 1 month left on finishing my house and shop im building myself. if yall talkin bout $ a bengi -bengi and a half + S&H i'll knock em out for all you 2501 owners. im retired GC and millworker by trade. got access to CNC... but honestly all you need are simple tools to diy!
cardboard template transferred to a 1/4" or 1/2" plywood. drill and bits. router with bearing bit (or utility knife for thin rubber). a jigsaw/bandsaw. couple of C clamps and your choice or mat material... that's it!
guess i'm confused. most you good ole boys or gals can skin a buck and split a tractor in one sit n... but if you got that $ then i'll take it... lol!!!

Are they just laying on the floor and do they stay in place? One of you guys should sell these mats.
Hello, yes the mats just lay in place and stay. They are easy to install and remove. The rubber is 1/2" thick. I am willing to make these available. I know they will fit a L2501 HST as that is what I have. Since the L3301 and L3901 are suppose to be the same except for engines I would assume they would fit those HST models too. If there is any interest for a set the cost is $95 + shipping. Send me a PM if interested and we can work out the details. Thanks

In checking Messicks parts, looks as if the following Kubotas share the same steps:
L2501 HST
L3301 HST
L3901 HST
L3200 HST
L3800 HST

I purchased a set of these mats from Hawk67. They shipped fast and fit my Kubota L3301 perfectly. Very pleased with them.
