Still a bit of a newbie, at least in opportunities to lift heavy items, and I have a question. Today I had my forks on and was unloading a pallet of the back of a large box truck. I was on ground level and had the forks about 4 1/2 feet off the ground into the back of the truck. The tractor couldn't lift the pallet up off the floor of the truck. It would tilt it back, and I was able to unload it that way. But I wanted to just lift it up level and it wouldn't budge. The bill of laden says it weighed 560lbs. Is that normal? I know the height affects it. The forks are about 42" and the pallet was about 36 inches and forks were fully under it. Just curious if that's normal. Thanks for the input.
