I have a B2650 with a FEL and a B2782 (63") front mount snowblower. The snowblower is easy enough to take on and off. However, I'm wondering if it's possible to leave the snowblower subframe on and remount the FEL in a pinch for limited use (for instance, to dig through a large snowbank at the end of the driveway.

Nope, you have to take the mount for the snowblower off to put the fel on. There isnt enough clearance between the two if the mount is left on.

Glad someone with a B2650 responded.

It seems most subframes are not compatible with the loader.

Not only do they not fit together, but you would have to deal with the plumbing issues for the hydraulics as well.

And the ground clearance issue.
With the snowblower on you tend not to go in the same places as with the FEL. You might forget the subframe is on(if it were possible) and get stuck or do some damage.

I have a BX2200 and left the sub frame on one year. Mostly used the loader arms with a plow attached for snow. Well, got so deep I decided to put the snow blower on. The subframe was so caked with ice and it took me an hour to get it free so I could put the blower on.

Never do that again :)
